He has finished his course work and is currently writing his theses expecting to graduate at the end of the year. Paulson joined the Shalom Conflict Center as an intern in November.

Being a Turkana from the North of Kenya, he was intrigued by the peace work that Shalom carries out in various parts of the country including his own county. He has a passion for peace-building especially in his community that has suffered as a result of conflict.

Paulson is delighted to have an opportunity at Shalom Conflict Center and get hands-on experience in the field, giving him a greater understanding on how to re-build relationships and contribute to sustainable peace. The Shalom team is optimistic that Paulson will benefit from the methodology which it is applying in conflict environments and that he will contribute positively.
